You bet I have to update, it's been nearly a month... just landed a few hours ago back from Rio de Janeiro. 
I had a real cool time actually... too short probably. First time ever in latin America but definitely not the last. I wonder if I should eat or if I should sleep or... go to work? Well no, not that one
Funny how you start with an idea of a dangerous city where you should just get off from a cab to get in somewhere safe or even avoid leaving the hotel at night and blablabla... And finally end up strolling in an empty downtown at night or hang out in some dodgy streets where the music never seems to stop.
Should travel guidebooks really be taken seriously? Watchathink amigos?
