Man! There are sooo many cool people on SG. I think if there was an SG when I was like 18 Id've been a complete fanatic. I love everyone for commenting on my painting. Thanks! You're very cool, especially considering no one has to say anything.
My freind just baught a house with this second story deck that looks like the bow of a ship jutting out about 20' or so. Atached to the front was a 3' carved lady. It's the real thing that they used to put on the front of old sailing ships. She's all weathered and cracked and crusty. Shes damn beautiful and begging to be goth...a great project for me.
Local SD band CONVOY have joined MGM and are now getting their high dollar hype on as LOUIS XIV. With a new sparkely package and the latest Britt/alternative sound, you can expect to hear them soon on your local Clear Channel "cutting edge" station! HAHA, I'm sorry but this just seems so funny to me considering these guys have been a streightup country band for years! I've seen them a couple of times because I'm a fan of MUSIC, and I'll try just about anything live, but I'm telling you, they were unmistakably country with denim overalls, cowboy hats, boots, the whole thing. HA, you should see them now. It's an extreme makeover for the desired target audience!
OK that was a little negative and lopsided, but I so love to hate the music industry.
On a happy note: Tomorrow's March, and that meens I get to see The Modest Mouse twice. Yesss! These guys set my clock back about 15 years every time I see them. It always meens seeing freinds that I rarely get to see anymore too, and that's good. Ah see, I feel better.
Chears to Crimson I am so honored!

It was PUMPIN'!! Picture a bar totally packed with hundreds of sweaty, groovin' indivuals whose ribcages are vibrating in their very bodies because of the sub bass massiveness!
They handed out individually packed earplugs with the cover of Tobin's "Out from Out Where" on them. I framed them and stuck them on my kitchen wall. I have an interesting kitchen.
Thanks for the compliments. Very appreciated.
XOXO Crimson
