I think I'm a bit too Old Testament after all. You see, I'm a fanatical wisher-on-stars (shooting or otherwise), and in fact, I wish on just about anything opportune or unexpected. I've got this fear, though, that whatever power there is that grants my wishes will be a prissy, semantic 'teacher of lessons' that, if my wishes aren't complete or coherent enough, if there's the slightest technicality to be found, it'll be taken advantage of so's I can have my wish, and still be miserable. I just wished on a shooting start to find a flat in the city, and immediately worried that perhaps this would happen, but without Nadja. There's no solution to this though, because it feels that asking to 'find a flat in the city with Nadja' could be two wishes. It's a hard life being irrational and paranoid.
Also, I've just added a bunch of pictures of Nadja and Vermont to my pictures folder so you should all go and then remark on what a wonderful dog he is and on how lovely my friends seem.
