Last night I suddenly woke up whistling. I know in my dream I was in a large room with stone walls, a church or some sort of old building. I remember there was a breeze. I had a melody from the middle of a Godspeed! song stuck in my head and whistled it absently. My friend Alix, amusedly, as though I shouldnt know at all, or should have already known this, told me that it was a Hama (?) which was a type of algorithmically written song that any assembly compiler would be able to understand and make work. The man, whose name I cant remember, had written these melodies in his times of greatest sorrow. (Alix would never say in his times of greatest sorrow that might be the strangest part of the dream). I woke up suddenly in the middle of the night whistling this bit of a Godspeed! song.
