Well.... yes. Blue-Eyed Devil is rad. I've some problems with it, which is good, otherwise I'd have nothing to tell Erika when I call her tomorrow after work.
I still haven't payed rent. I'm $35 short. It sux0rs. But yes. Whatever. So tomorrow I'm going to work and call Erika about Blue-Eyed Devil. I hope they have more work for me. I'm gonna finish my Delillo book and then I wanna re-read Love in the Time of Cholera (which I read in one sitting with three bottles of wine one night and can't remember most of) .
I snuck into the movie of Everything is Illuminated. It absolutely sucked. I'm tempted to talk about the brilliance of certain books that can't be made into movies, but I think the movie was just badly made. I had such high hopes. Everyone in it was good, and the cinamatography was good and the music was awesome, but none of it worked together. That's sort of the most disapointing.
Still, I stole a cool book about the Irish in World War One the other day from Boarders that I'm hoping I can use for my Vermont nationalism essay. I've also been having a bunch of cool discussions with folks around the city about nationalism that makes my perspective on Irish nationalist literature change a bit. Anyway, Sunday is my day off, and yay, but you know. Woo woo. Quiznos! Yeah! Toasted and whatnot! Primo!
cough.
