Zombies! ... And also Will & Lou.
Shot all through the weekend for our new series Will & Lou, a modern day vaudevillian buddy comedy. I co-directed the 5 shorts we shot as well as playing the part of "Zombie". Pretty exciting stuff, our super talented makeup artist put all kinds of weird things on my face. Some tissue and liquid latex to simulate the burnt and disfigured skin, bunch of blood paint, some oozing pus and ocular fluid. She was having quite a blast, gotta love how much she loves what she does. Check out the progression:

The first day we filmed in an amazing SF apartment for a short that may or may not involve black market organ dealing:

The shoots were pretty intense, took pretty much the full weekend and the second day we were filming in the rain, which while providing some beautiful footage, was a royal pain in the ass and quite unpleasant. Had to bag up our cameras and pretty much everyone was soaked like a wet cat halfway through the day.

Still it was a total blast and and we got some great stuff. Our crew is amazing and everyone is super talented, very lucky to have such awesome people on board. The scripts and cast are hilarious as per usual, psyched to start editing these together and getting them ready for our February release.

Also I had to shave for the zombie makeup and got a haircut, so now I look like this and it's kinda freaking me out, haven't been clean shaven for years...
