You know, I've been thinking way to much about that comic. Here's what I think bugs me about it: that there is an implication that the two things, the jobs, marriage, etc, and the awesome get Life Goals thing, are mutually exclusive. I don't like that. I also don't like that the jobs, marriage option somehow seems like a miserable, bleary alternative. I mean, it certainly can be, if you never have Life Goals or adventures - but why can't you have both? At the same time, even?
