"why do you want this job?"

I don't, I want a job with an engineering firm, but they won't hire me so I have to muck about with your service industry and unskilled labour jobs for several more years.

"What makes you special for this job?"

Me and 70% of the population can do this job to a tolerable degree, I am honestly surprised you...

Civil, structural, mechanical or electrical engineering? I know tons of civil and structural engineers in SLC and could put in a good word.

Update the second:

I hate Utah and on that note I will not be staying the summer, instead I'll be having fun. I've sent out a couple of applications to other colleges that will hopefully allow me to continue my fancy engineering edumacation in the fall, if not I'll start an electrical engineering minor in the fall.

To reiterate Utah is bad and my girlfriend...

These are my options for the coming months

1. I go to summer school to take two mechanical engineering courses, I don't get to see my friends, family, or girlfriend, instead I stay here with no friends essentially by myself. This gives me the chance of gradutating in four years.

2. I don't take summer courses, I go home, see my friends, family, and girlfriend....

Are you going to finish your degree at the U? If so, I'd opt for #1. Spend as little time in utard as possible--get it over with and get away.

Your mileage may vary.

A new flexible spatula has allowed me to make picture perfect crepes with ease, without it it's like trying to handle saran wrap while keeping it straight.

Lets see... I spent two hours in the computer lab today trying to program yahtzee in C and I'm literally no closer to finishing than when I started. There isn't anything more miserable than programming in C.

My spring break ended and I left great weather and clear skies of Boise from the miserable gray, snowy, polluted skies of Salt Lake yesterday. I hate the city.

We said our goodbyes and while kissing at her front door she looked behind and me and saw that it had snowed about two inches. It was still snowing, though you couldn't see it, she didn't have shoes on so I picked her up, walked out, and we kissed in the snow.

Right out of a movie, or something.

Sweet, though.
