Allergies
I'm allergic to my job...or rather, I'm allergic to being outside and my job is outside for 11-12 hour shifts
I've never felt anything like it. Eyes itchy and swollen, and nearly stuck together in the mornings..throat feeling almost closed up by afternoon after being outside all day...sinus pressure headaches, you name it. It has gradually gotten worse and worse for almost a month now. I have changed medicine several times and have been using Claritin D 24 hour for the last couple of weeks..sometimes having to take sudafed on top of that (doubling dosage of sudafed since Claritin D already contains some, i've learned isn't good at all... it's a type of speed or something, i've just read online..so it more or less just gave me so much energy i didnt notice my symptoms) I have also been using eye drops and nose spray on top of everything..just layer after layer just to get through the days. I should have guessed I would burn myself out sooner or later trying to do so much...not taking any time to rest, only taking days off that I have classes and trying to squeeze homework in between. Last night was the worst night I've had..and this morning I fell on the way down the stairs (not hard, but enough to scare me) becuase my equillibrium is all messed up..probably from allergy related sinus pressure making my ears all stopped up, they've felt stopped up for a few days now. I've been trying to avoid going to the doctor without insurance, but one look at the huge dark circles under my eyes today told me I better give in. I think I may need allergy shots or something, nothing else seems to be working....or it could just be that leaving it unattended for so long has given me a sinus infection. I spent most of the night either trying to sleep or crying becuase I couldn't even though I was so tired...I'm just completely exhausted.
So now I can't work for a few days, I have a doc appointment at 2:30 tommorrow....until then, lots of rest. I need it.
