well, i'm on holidays for a month. from nursing, anyway. will still be working at the bookshop and now on thursdays as well as friday. depression still lingers. i dont think i can stop it. its seems i go like this at this time of year. i think i'll just have to watch it come and try to make the most of it. at least i wont have to worry about work for a month. I consulted the I Ching again last week. I cast the hexagram of Fire on fire, and it said:
"Like fire, you give light and warmth; like fire, you must cleave to something in order to maintain your existence. You are bright, active, outgoing; but you must hold to something dark and passive for your sustenance. Light, warmth, and its heavenward direction constitute one aspect of fire; its other aspect is its dependence on the dark, dead fuel to which it clings. It is this less spectacular side of your nature that you should cultivate. Although in human terms flames are the most striking element in any fire, from the fire's point of view, its fuel, that which sustains it, is the crucial element. Fire is dependent on its dark partner for its existence."
It also said material wealth will be allowed to accrue to me. YAY!
