So there I was, years ago, well fucked up on mushrooms, thinking...
I was thinking about something my mother used to say. She used to chase me around, trying to tickle me, saying: "The getcha monster's going to getcha!" That's what she would say. And I started thinking about the getcha monster...
"I mean, I guess that's what the getcha monster does... he gets you. That's all he does. He doesn't go dancing, or fall in love. He's relegated to that one purpose in life, defined by some whimsical appellation. Poor bastard..."
Needless to say, I was mightily messed up. However, even without the benefit (or detriment) of hallucinogens, it's kind of funny to go back and examine our childhood memories in light of our current 'mature' perspective, don't you think?

I'm sort of figuring out that this was a really bad place for me... three and a half years, and I was never happy.
Still, I'll miss it a lot.
Hey, I finally saw the English version of Princess Mononoke the other day! Awesome movie.
