And Breathe. A day off, finally, and on a beautiful early September day. Lovely. The new job is alright. Less people to deal with. The only thing though is that it's been quite warm here the last few days, and the air conditioner in the restaurant is broken. So it's like a sauna in there. You sweat just by standing at the computer punching things in. OH god I hope they get that fixed by Wednesday. One of the Supervisors is awesome, we work really well together and get shit done right away so we don't have to deal with it later. It's less busy than Boston Pizza but I can send the other servers home and take whatever comes in. And on the weekend I will be in the bar, so that's where the real money is anyway.
I have to admit though I'm a bit stressed out with the thought of school, and trying to get into that program at NAIT, and work and general life balance really. I wish I could just work untill January. But I guess life is never that easy, especially when there are lessons to be learned. I guess I'll just have to see how it all plays out when school starts to kick my ass.
Oh, and one of my friends who does local stories for Shaw, is going to help me do one of my very own. He's going to film it, and he's going to show me how to edit it; all I have to do is come up with a story and some questions.. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it on recycling. Here in the Fort they are relaly lax about it, there needs to be much more awareness.
