Bad luck comes in threes...
At least the flood is over now! Those of you who are regular readers will know I have often inflicted the music of Val Doonican and Englebert Humperdinck on my neighbours in retaliation for their waking me up at stupid o'clock with domestic rows and fuckin' Coldplay records. They were the ones who were flooded out of their house on Monday night and now they have left for good. Feel a bit sad actually, I'd got to know them better over the last week (smoking their fags and drinking their wine in return for charging their mobiles and supplying hot water and candles) and they actually seemed to be okay. Oh well. Wonder who will move in next? It will be a while before the place is habitable again.
Cat flea crisis over. however cats were not amused by being marched off to the bathroom for combing twice a day! I am very good at catching the little buggers now. Fleas not cats that is.
3rd piece of joy: my filling came out. and I wasn't eating toffees this time.
4th piece of joy: because I just can't buckle down to study (exam on 6th - EEK) I have been doing a bit of home improving...like replacing the seal round the bath. However I managed to break some tiles, and then cut my hand to ribbons because I didn't expect them to be so pointy, and now I have to retile that bit. Bah humbug. But I fixed my coat rack back onto the wall without mishap.
In preparation for exam week I am batch cooking and freezing half of everything as ready meals. Mmmmmmm! Goulash, curry, chili and spag bol await my tum! Plus I have a stack of wiener sossies and a mountain of borscht. I will not starve....
Once the exams are over it is countdown to Vienna (*hums tune from the Third Man*) cannae wait...
