Well, still not quite done with the German essay - going to do my best to finish it tonight. My tutor has been kind and given me an extension. Guess she is kind of used to it with me.
What I did manage to do was arrange all my Germany travel! So I've got my train and plane tickets all sorted out. Flying first to Berlin, then train to Jena, then train to Rosenheim, then flying home but taking a couple of days in Cologne to visit a friend. All for about 300. And no accommodation to pay for, just food and beer and schnapps and cigs. YAY!
Deutsche Boy is all up to high-doh about me coming over. It's really
sweet !
Had some surprises this week - nice ones though - my upstairs neighbour gave me a card and flowers and a bottle of wine as a peace offering for the whole hole-in-the-ceiling scenario. And I'm moving department at work, so my team presented me with a bottle of malt whisky! Really lovely of them to do that. 
Have been doing a lot of cooking, because having an overdue essay always has that effect on me. Had gin-and-lemon chicken last night, and melon icecream YUM. Going to try some new recipes tonight as well.

sigh, so many great things to visit, so little time
i only had 90 mins to visit the city,and i spent 20 of them in media markt to buy blank dvds. they cost less than half the italian price. damn italy and it's stupid taxes on memory-storage items!!!!
but now i have enough blank dvds to last me a year. i guess. LOL
