Just got back from Cologne today to a big pile of mail and loads of birthday wishes. YAY! 
I'll be popping round to thank everyone who sent birthday greetings over the weekend.
Being nearer 40 that 30 doesn't hurt so far, we had a fab time, ate our heads off, drank much fine German beer and went to my favourite places like the Roman museum and the Cathedral. And we met up with my old pal CuriousTomcat.
Today we absolutely STUFFED our cases with all the schnapps and sausages and chocolate we'd bought. YUM. No need to shop for a bit.
