Ah rain. Beautiful, glorious, refreshing rain. It has been raining here for 3 days now and it is absolutely amazing. I can hear nature sighing with relief after a month of very little rain. Everything is so bright and green... I can almost see everything beginning to grow again.
I was dancing barefoot in the rain earlier, just enjoying the feel of it against my skin....oh yes and a little puddle jumping was involved when going for a walk..
Laying in bed listening to the rain and distant thunder just before the sun came up was one of the most peaceful and beautiful mornings I have had in a long time. I hope for more storms tonight.
Yoga on the porch while it was raining was very nice too..of course for yoga I made sure to stay out of the rain as a wet yoga mat is very difficult to hold poses on. hehe
