Re: which was the better decision -- uh, in retrospect, if I had known the chicken was going to be as terrible as it was, I would have gotten some cookies or a salad at McDonald's. However, without having known that in advance, I'll usually gamble that hotel food will be better than McDonald's food. Especially since the McDonald's in Union Station is seriously the worst one I have ever seen. I went there once and they had half an inch of dirty water spilling out of the kitchen into the customer area. Nasty.
Re: flattery -- yeah, somehow I doubt cretins of that stripe are too interested in my views or writings. (Besides, that'd require them to be literate.) I just wish they'd be castrated for the good of the species. I'd even volunteer to do it myself.
