You know what I hate. People with "astrological sign" tattoos. Or anything that deals with some sort of pre-determined idea of somebodies personality. Its like. Here, I will tattoo somebody elses idea of who I am supposed to be determined by myth and lore. I dont know I DO NOT understand it, what is that for? theres no story behind it, its not beautiful artwork. Its mostly just squiggly lines and an excuse to tell people something useless about yourself, other than the fact you like to get shitty tattoos for no reason.
My old friend is getting one, It is his Chinese zodiacs kanji symbol (keeping in mind Kanji is what Japanese use to identify Chinese words) some odd shape I dont recognize (looks like the prince logo), and his astrological sign. Im like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Do you REALLY need to define yourself THAT much. I dont understand it. Its as if your TRYING to prove to yourself and others that you belong to something bigger, something that defines you to connect with other people (jesus and cross tattoos are different). I dunno. It boggles my mind.. It infuriates me.
So I got to thinking. if i were wacky enough to get on of these tattoos what would mine be.. ladies and gentlemen.. I propose the tattoo that says who I am.
