This was the first solstice in a decade when I've had some disposable income, the first time ever when the disposable income added up to something significant. I got to buy some snazzy hardware for 3 of my sweeties-
N is a novelist- got her a palm with a big keyboard. I got a 20 gig ipod for L, a 10gig for S.
Had a sweet kinda geeky poly moment last night- took S and N out for supper, we came back home and I watched them hook their wireless gadgetry up together to exchange information... T'was one of those goofy consumerist pleasures we could easily live without, but I'm still smiling.
Still having fierce cravings, nightmares and horrible insomnia from quitting smokes. At least I think it's from quitting. Gonna spend some time now writing and hanging out w N. She's off sugar, carbs and alchohol- damn whiny pair we are so far this year...
