Exhausted, overwhelmed, and sweaty... generally the same as most days recently. When I said that I wrote a letter or two about my experience applying to the grad program, perhaps I understated. I wrote the provincial human rights commission, the ombudsperson for the university, the local papers, etc., 'cause the combination of f*cking me over and defending it as standard policy felt a little too weird to let go.
Remains to be seen what responses that generated. I don't (at all) want to get into the program in order to experience another 2-3 years of idiocy, but I am hoping for an apology and the news that they've made their admissions policy a little less punitive to people with disabilities.
