Well, I am certainly the source of my own destruction.

On the bright side, I think I've come back to my true love and passion, music. This engineering major is destroying my sanity and my happiness. Unfortunately, I'm in a bit of a financial bind as a result of this decision. I need to either get my shit together and work through these classes, hoping to pass and not fuck up my GPA, or I need to withdraw and find a part-time job really fast.

I taught a beginner's violin lesson today. It was fun! I hope she enjoyed learning as much as I enjoyed stumbling about teaching her. Pedagogy is really something I'm just going to have to cultivate. Especially since I have now decided that music is pretty much all I want to do. I also need to get in a regular habit of practicing and writing music as well. Time to fire up the old engines and get this plane off the ground.

So I mentioned I went to Memphis. I forgot to grab a picture at the wedding, but I got Beale Street.

I also went to my first college football game this past weekend with my friends James and Ali from Austin. It was brilliant! I don't really care about football, but it was still a good game. And I got to enjoy it with good peeps.
