Since I'm on my own for Christmas (at least Christmas Eve) I decided to make myself a big bowl of homemade popcorn.
I used the following recipe from Alton Brown:
Though I did double the salt because when using the amount he said, there wasn't much salt no matter how I did it. I have found that putting the oil in before the kernels seems to be a better way to do it, and coconut oil seems to give better tasting popcorn, but not sure why that is.
