I had a dream last night where I was riding the Metro (the subway here in DC) and it stopped because a tree was across the tracks (It was an above ground section of track.)
So a supervisor was out there and instructed all the passengers to construct a temporary train kit. The kit consisted of pieces of plastic picket fence sections and large wads of pillows duct taped together.
I do remember that in my dream, I was wondering why they didn't just back a good train down to the downed tree and let us board that. Or why the union would let non-union passengers fix a breakdown.
hmmm.
