I'm sure this gunk can get you drunk, but how do you make sure that during the fermentation process you have the right yeast producing the right kind of alcohol? You definately don't want to end up with methanol or other nasties. Ignoring the taste, this all strikes me as a bad idea.

The problem is that it's 720x480 interlaced. So either you have to do some fancy deinterlacing which makes it less sharp or you do a decimate by 2 thing and end up with half the res

I didn't see too much of the KDE conference, but I did go to the final party thing, which was awesome.

Other than that, the vacation was a blast too. They fucked up my flight so I got to fly first class via KLM

. For the last few days in Frankfurt I rented an Alfa Romeo 147 GTA.

Awesome ride. I was crusing up the A4 behind a Porsche (I think a 944) going about 140kph in the right lane. So I geared down, revved it up, swerved into the left hand lane and fucking floored it... took him a while to figure out wtf was going on.. so then we raced a bit ~220kph until he took some exit. I made it up to 240 before I ran out of road.

Good times.

So my dad finally got down to the University hospital to receive his Angiogram where they go and look around in your heart with radioactive dyes and xrays.

It turns out one of his arteries was 100% blocked, no wonder he was in pain.
