Dear World,
I didn't get to go to Amsterdam this weekend because of the British Airways strike and my friend called me to say she was too afraid of flying SO I made up for it by going to Leeds and my secret hidaway hut...
On Friday morning I got the 9:35am train to Leeds and met with my bestest friend who I hadn't seen since Christmas. I took her out to Harvey Nichols (ooh!) for lunch, which was more expensive than my return ticket from London to Leeds (!!). But it was very nice.

We went shopping and then went back to her house, where we had her birthday party:

At around 12:30am we left and went to a club where we danced the night away. I got a cab back to my dad's and got the train home that afternoon.
I've been hiding away recently with my books and my cameras. I'm currently working my way through all the Inspector Wallander books. Yay! I don't have many photographs to hand, but I have been painting my new hidaway hut in south east England. Here it is:

My other best friend, Kimberley, and I went down on Monday to go and paint it:

What else is new?
I had a great time at FACEDOWN the other week:
and I've been sitting outside enjoying the sunshine we've been having:
Went out with my friends to central London:
And on a weird internet note, I was at work the other day shifting books around when I looked up and saw Akemi browsing the books whilst on her phone. It's weird when internet and "real life" collide!
Hope everyone's well,
Snowy

Your secret hideaway hut is awesome, what are you going to use it for?
I don't think I would ever leave that hut, it's definitely way cooler than sleeping on the couch
