Just watched Prozac nation. Very good film, just like the book.
I read the book at uni when i was totally fucked up with depression, and i was going through the same things. The film was good it kinda concentrated on her relationships with people and not the everyday struggle with thing that i feel the book acheived. But i suppose to concentrate on personal anguish would make for a CRAP film. So well done anyway.
in parts it was autobiographical, with me being in the same situations and stuff like that. At least it didn't portray depresssion as some romantic thing which some films tend to do, it exposed it as the animal that can totally wreck your life and consume your soul and will.
Well thats enough now. lou Reed Transformer is playing...
