I would have hoped that I would never witness this. But I can at least tell you that I'm not a coward that didn't do anything.
The story begins while I was on my way from the cinema to my house. I was cruising on my longboard , when I cruised past a huge crowd. I felt something was wrong, so I decided to take a look what was going on.
What I saw were two woman beating and kicking a third woman. In my first reaction I wanted to get the two aggressive woman away from the third.
lucky for me, two city guards came by the moment I got one woman on a distance.
After the two city guards got the two woman in check, I asked with full disgust to the crowd if they thought it was normal to stand by with so many people and do nothing. If it was entertaining for them, when two woman beat up another woman.
The only reaction I got from a group of Turkish/Moroccan looking kids, that asked me what my problem was. "They are not your bitches" was what they told me.
They tried to intimidate me, but a kind dark man came between to protect me. (if you ever read this sir, I am grateful for you help. You were one of the few with decency, moral and values).
I only received a push and nothing else, except a greater disgust of the majority of mankind.
Moral of the story: I AM NOT A BYSTANDER. I will not stand idly by when a hundred man crowd just stares and do nothing while someone is getting beat up.
I act. I help the helpless. no matter the cost to my own health.
I hope I at least inspired someone to do the same a next time, instead of being a bystander. We as society should not tolerate it when someone gets beaten while so many people stand by and do nothing.
To conclude this with a positive ending, the films I watched were Awesome...
(wasn't planning of posting this in english, but when a friend of mine translated it, I thought: why not? So I hope I took out all his errors, and made it a bit readable.)
