sunday morning in bangkok and i don't feel like doing a damn thing. been sitting here putzing about, searching for increasingly obscure things in a feeble attempt to avoid getting dressed and doing something. i know i have to get some work done today as i am out of options. i could have done it yesterday, but after two johnnie blacks on the flight from tokyo it seemed like watching Hunger Games for the first/fourth time was a more intelligent choice.
i say first because this the first time i've actually seen it. all the other times i watched it there was no sound. my neighboring passenger on some flight was watching it, and i tried to look away, but certain parts are impossible to turn away from. so the short answer is that by the time i actually saw it i already knew what was going to happen. not that it was some sort of epic that needed suspense......
anyway, i have about 24 hours left before i begin a laborous winding path back to new york (bangkok to taipei to LAX to NYC) -- so i have to finish my work today. maybe i'll go to the pool and drink some screwed up carrot juice concoction and do it there.......until it rains again.............
