First, had a friend bless me with blackface....I dont get why people want to dress up as a different race. Her and her friends decided that it was a cool idea to dress up as each other. Her friend is black so she put on black paint. Her friend put on white paint. Idiots
Second, another friend hits me with the "Star Wars is for nerds" shit. Close minded people bother the shit out of me lol. I guess because I grew up in a small town with many people like that and they used to give me shit because I was a black guy who liked white girls and who hung out with white people and black people. And when I graduated, I grew a Lenny K type fro and got my ears pierced. Oh no!!! I came back home and people were looking at me like I was an Alien. I still get shit from people sometimes because I dont fit the "all black men have to look like a hip hop video" box that people want me to be in. I tried to get my friend to be open minded about Star Wars and watch it. If she still didnt like it, fine, and I would respect that. But dont come with that "Star Wars is for nerds" crap. Ugh!

Ya know, it's funny, working with kids makes me realize that we truly don't care about race at that point until some ignorant dumbass decides to point out that your different in more ways than just your skin tone. Kids don't identify with race unless they are raised that way. I hate stereotypes and i hate labeling. No wonder why this world is going by the wayside.
