I'm utterly sick and tired of banks and lenders not approving me for loans of reasonably small amounts. I'm looking for $3400 for buy a damn scooter so I can continue to afford to get to work, and because my father fucked up my credit, I can't get a loan with $100 a month payments
.
The best part is that until a month ago, my credit was damn near perfect. Then some company called up saying that I still owe my college some money (even though I was lucky enough to have my parents pay for it), and that the bill was going into collections. Well, my father was hit by a car on April 16th, and was unable to make the payment for that month. So now, instead of it being reported as being "30 Days Past Due" they decided to royally fuck up and report it as "Key Derogatory" which as some may know, means that I'm being sued for the money. Which I'm not. Because they reported it wrong. It's amazing how someone's careless error can ruin your ability to get a loan. My credit score went from 715 to 605 as a result of someone's dipshit mistake, and who knows if the guy at the collections agency will keep to his word and fix it.

I have a few other avenues marginally available to me if need be. Namely, finding a co-signer and/or putting down a larger down payment. Ugh. This is pissing me off.
