So, right now, I'm rooting for the Mighty Ducks. How third grade is that? 
. Not because I like the team, or particularly care about hockey these days, but right now it's just to spite the people who are outside flipping out an hour and a half before the puck drops. Assholes. Basically, I'm not hoping that the ducks win, I'm hoping that the senators lose; because I hate ottawa, and I'll get to have a good laugh at the city crying that their team lost. Just the other day we were having a discussion in the locker room about who has the best hockey team in the world. Of course, the canadians thought that they did. Us American folk decided that it's not the canadians, but the Russians, seeing as they almost always win hockey gold at the Olympics. The canadians argued that it's because their best players go to the NHL to play, whereas the Russians send their best players to the Olympics. I agreed at the time, but then I remembered that I saw a Pro Russian hockey game while I was there, meaning that their best players play pro hockey too. Either way, the point is moot because the current best team in canada (don't argue it, they're obviously the best team in canada if they're in the cup games) is losing to the best team in the US (again- they're the ones playing for the cup, making them the current best team)...so apparently, the Russians still have the best players in the world, they just come to the US to make money.
Now I wonder if all this horn honking going on outside my building is actually having any effect whatsoever on the hockey game? I don't think so, but maybe it will cause some accidents that the canadian government and use to pass more laws that nobody will obey. 2 more days in this ridiculous country. Just 2 more days. Well...2 1/2 if you count the drive out on saturday.
The good thing about being here is that Rikki and I are going to Signatures tomorrow night. Why? No reason whatsoever other than that I love her alot, and I think a super-fancy meal with her will me worth more than I pay for it. I'm excited, I finally get to eat at the place I go to school at. I wonder if the restaraunt is as good as the stuff we make upstairs
