Sometimes I think there should be a favorite phrase category in the profile. Of course, mine would be, "Don't be sorry; just don't do it again."
A case in point: while dancing around on Saturday, some otherwise cute little thing, backed into me.
Frankly, I don't really care if someone runs into me on the dance floor. What happens on the dance floors of Edmonton is remarkably mild to my mind, having been routinely kicked by people wearing steel capped boots dancing to just "Just One Fix." What is annoying is when they don't have the good sense to move further away.
She apologized profusely while I was trying to listen to the music and keep my balance after 5 double rum and vanilla cokes consumed in fairly rapid succession. It wasn't so much an apology as much as standing in the way. Of course, the fact that I simply ignored the apology infuriated her. It's funny how people can go from polite to angry in the space of a few seconds.
