So, I really want to go see Star Wars in concert in London coming April. Unfortunately I have no Star Wars loving friends willing to come with me.
Is anyone else going? I'll go alone if I have to but I think it would be more fun to go with a bunch of other star wars geeks. Bonus points if you have a couch I...

I was planning to visit Spain for a month, though now I am not sure.
I have to talk to a booker first.
I've been busy, and haven't much time to write or talk to them.

Sometime, I can come to Enschede, and meet you and your lovely family again.
I love your family, they are so lovely.

Go figure, first time in years I'm blown away by how fun a band is and it seems there's hardly any info on them floating around. (not even a wiki page!)
I don't suppose one of my many, many loyal readers has the live album by The seven laws of woo?

I have the same question actually. I don't really know. I gonna ask to my doctor this week, just to be sure.

The Seven Laws of Woo? Sounds fun!
Also: we have a definite woohoo (so, no cancer, no additional risks from the growth, etc. - yay!)

After some minor civil unrest last new years eve, the police has decided to patrol the skies using one of those military aerial drones here this year to look for arsonists.
Seriously, when did spying on citizens using flying drones step out of dystopian sci fi and became real? Is it going to have guns to shoot suspected dissidents next year?
Have a good one,...

if only. just because I don't talk about it doesn't mean I'm not prone to such emotions.
Everything is made of tuesday because only the sky can cook happiness.
misskoneko:
Unforunately the sky is not cooking happiness for me. It's cooking wet shoes and wet clothes. And the smell of wet dog. Everywhere..
I usually find it's the girls that are REALLY hardcore into comics that freak me out. As do most guys. But again, having said that, i've always found normal people in amongst the masses. Walking into comic stores creeps me out sometimes, just because of the customers that might be there aswell. The ones that have to squeal when standing in line for a signing by an obscure author that like only 5 people in the world know; as if they're meeting that Twilight guy. Ehhhhhh.

Hm, absolutely zero plans for christmas. Maybe I can do something productive with 2 weeks off.

I don't think any number of comedy tracks could have made up for the severe entertainment deficit that is Twilight.

You're right you know. It's mostly the certified insane who are the most clued onto the truth.

I can't understand Kurosawa artworks at all, it's too much to me. I love Ichikawa Kon the best, and his artworks from 1960 to 2006 are all amazing, and now I'm watching his last movie,
Also my favorite defector is Hideo Gosha. He's the best director for movies of underground business and catfight,

canada's pretty conservative these days. it's really unfortunate. :/ all of us leftists in canada really wish we lived in scandinavia, but instead we're stuck here, trying to change a system that resists at every turn.
i'd have loved to have had a social studies teacher like that in high school. teachers who are openminded and experienced and wise teach their students more than just the material, and that is the most valuable thing.

Mystery and intrigue! I got some text messages in a strange language this morning. Instantly suspecting this to be the work of the servants of elder gods I transcribed the messages into Google's translate service.
According to Google it's Indonesian. (and we all know how fond those guys are of evil elder gods) Google translated the first message to:

It's pieces from a snap-on AT-RT model with one of the joints in the legs removed and minus two toes.
And, they do move really well. Especially with all three joints in place.
I think mine will have to be mounted to a scene to give it a sturdier balance, but it could move if it wasn't SO top heavy.

Hi.. It's not too hard actually. It was a small Venue so the club lighting was pretty basic and not a whole lot of it. These kind of shots work best if you use a wide angle lens and get close to the subject. Shoot the photo and fire your flash <I like using an off camera sync Cord> with slow shutter speed. If you go too slow the singer would be all blurry. You have to find the right mix of your flash with the ambient light. I was shooting this at iso 200 f4.5 at about 1/4th of a second with a 20 mm. lens.
On vacation learning to fly a hangglider! (assuming my shitty knees don't give out on me)
Wish me luck.

Holy shit that sounds like fun! You should take photos while you're up there
