There's a woodpecker building nest in a tree right outside my office window. (is it still called a nest when it's just a hole n a tree?)

I love woodpeckers. You know that old joke about flamethrowers indicating that at some point in time someone thought 'I want to set those people on fire but they're too far away'? Woodpeckers show that at some point in natural history a bird thought it would be a good idea to bang his head against a tree until there's a hole big enough to live in.

Even more amazing, some girl thought this guy was attractive enough to keep him in the genepool. (I guess women really don't care as long as you got a nice crib / decent car / lots of money)

So yeah this one is dedicated to woodpeckers, the Ralph Wiggum of the animal kingdom. (now would you please pick a tree that is not so close to the place where I'm trying to focus on programming)


Now for something entirely different. This girl is so cute, tapdancing away like it's the coolest thing in the world. yeeeeah
