Rant time!
So yesterday a newspaper here in Denmark stated that around 1.6 million danes would get H1N1, aka. swineflu, aka. destroyer of worlds, aka doom of the universe. And that around 450 would probably die. True... dying from that stuff sucks and my sincere sympathy to those who suffer a loss.
Same day, and another news paper that says that normal flu hits the same amount of danes and kills more than 1000 people.
So... H1N1 actually saves around 550 people from dying (unless people getting H1N1 is lucky enough to attract the standard "no one cares about this flu")
Both sources used were the Danish healthdepartement... guess one of the papers just wanted to spread more panic.
I'm fucking tired of hearing about this crap... it's a normalish flu with a new name.
Oh... and I heard a whole lot about H1N1, and all I got was this shitty cold ... where's the drama in that?
