I think I am going to try and take a crack at being an artist. Like a serious hobby. I have always wanted to make mixed medium art or abstract paintings and I feel like I should start doing that. Give it a shot, see if it takes me anywhere. Having a Museum Curator/Artist promoter as a roommate would help if she ends up liking my work. We will see where this goes, and I will post my art as I begin, but might take awhile to get an actual finished piece.
So I am also finally settling into my new home. It's not so bad, accept I do not have a refrigerator or a stove at the moment. That doesn't bother me because I don't cook. I just wish I could have cold water, ha. I do miss the nice new loft, however I do not miss the old neighborhood. I do like my new neighborhood even though it still feels sketchy from time to time, I will get use to it. I have to find a place to do my laundry soon though...
I went to Best Buy today to look at getting a webcam. Then I started to think, "Why would I need a webcam?" I mean who would seriously want to look at me while I type. I can say I enjoy watching other people but do I really want people to see me picking my nose? Maybe not?Maybe so? I don't know. Either way I decided not to get the webcam. Plus it was $20 more at Best Buy then it was online so if a deal comes by maybe I'll get one, but for now there is no real reason to buy one. Also today I took a stroll down Valencia while I was having my bike fixed. I went into a lot of really cool shops. I went into Little Otsu and got some cool little gift tags I am going to use for my Christmas presents.

They came in a set, I know they look girlie but i'll just use the tree ones for now
. I also got a Scheduler that's really neat. So after Little Otsu I found this cool place called Paxton Gate. It was really cool. They had so many interesting things, I really wish I had my own house to buy some of the weir things like bat skeletons and just some random goodness that was very interesting. I went into a book store because even though I am not a reader I thought I may pick up a book and read, give it a shot. I plan on buying this book
It looks and sounds very interesting, if anyone has read this give me a thumbs up or down, either way I think I should start reading some books.
