Sooo, the second interview process with esurance.com went really well.
I got to meet with quite a few members of there team, about half and they are all great people. I am so tornnnnnn though.
So at esurance I would be the 2nd 'Designer' the company has had. Thats pretty big, that means that the head designer, Paul, and I would work on everything for esurance, from the website to print ads to bus wraps to billboards to everything promotional and internal for the company. It sounds like a good opportunity and they have met my salary requirements and they come with benefits.
The other company has awesome work with various different clients and a some what limited range of that work ranging from mainly online banner ads and micro sites. They have not brought me in for a second interview but I did get a call back today and they want me for 2 positions that they have, they just dont know where to put me. I don't know what they are offering and Im afraid that if I let this esurance job slip away that Im going to get screwed out of some money and not have as much creative say so as Id like. That and with esurance, we are the branding department, we come up with what we would want the company to look like. Bah Im at a cross roads at where I should go. I am leaning towards esurance though because it's looking less stressful and more creative, less cut throat and more collaborative. I don't know, any ideas on what I should do?
