i just watched american psycho for the first time. i was unsure about how it was going to leave me feeling; at once point it was so sick that i just burst into tears, but even after that i still had to laugh at the funny parts. and then as the end credits began to roll, the soundtrack changed to a david bowie song, and i decided that i liked it and it's one of the greatest.

that movie was naughty in it's own way but the book was 10 times as twisted

The book is good...now, did you interpret the movie to be a fantasy inside Patrick's head? Most people I've talked to think he was hallucinating all the murders, and that he was just a bored guy living out this macabre secret life in his head. I disagree completely..I think it was supposed to be taken satirically, but not as a fantasy. I can explain this more later. What did you think?
