Over the past two days I have made the move from the south side of Glasgow to the east end. I know I prefer the south side but we just couldn't find anything suitable for the monthly rent limit we had. However, the new flat is MUCH nicer than the old place and the street seems not too bad. Although, I don't really approve of the dirty close or the paper thin walls. This allowed me to hear some people listening to Rod Stewart almost as if I was in the room with them last night. I'm hoping that doesn't become an ongoing problem as there is nothing worse than trying to live your life only to hear the conversation of the people through the wall from you. Fingers crossed. On the plus side, as I said, the flat is lovely and we've bought some cool things for it and my mate lives on the same street as us. Should lead to a few good, drunken nights.
I was in a bus today which smashed into the side of a car. A guy had to be cut free from the car and I was a little bit shaken. The bus was travelling down by the Carling Academy and going through a green light when a girl attempted to jump the lights and totally misjudged it. The bus rammed right into the car and pushed it along the road, right through some railings and into a wall. Really lucky there was no-one on the pavement at that point or they would have been a goner. I don't know how the guy ended up, I saw him get cut free and loaded onto a stretcher with blood running from a head wound. He was on the passenger side and took the full brunt of it. Methinks if he recovers and if that was his lady driving, a few terse words might be exchanged.
Not a nice experience for a Saturday.

Not a nice experience on any day of the week. You never guess how much these things will shake you until you see them in the flesh.

Actually, I really enjoyed Crank. It's mindlessly entertaining, pretty much like Snakes On A Plane. Plus it starts with Jason Stratham kicking in a plasma screen telly to the sound of Refused - New Noise. Ace
