Is it just me, or has SG been down for like three days??
Anyway.
I have only got four more shifts at Stones before I leave the only thing I have ever been really good at behind and go back to being depressed and suicidal over my degree.
So, in honour, we had the biggest party EVER.
PIZZA EXPRESS, HOCKLEY:
There were 22 of us on the biggest table ever. Pictured are me, Tom, Kim. Not pictured are Zoe, Christina, Jeff, Tom A, Jed, Chris S, Mary, Maggie, Andy R, Nick, Vita, Andy Canada, Patch, Chris H, Jeff, Priya, Rob, Hayley and Sophie.
Me and Kim and Patch are all leaving within a week of each other, so we combined forces for the BEST LEAVING DO EVER. There was a lot of sneaking around, buying cards, presents, not letting each other know. I bought Patch this:
Zoe bought Kim (something like) this:
And me? I got this thing:
I was sitting RIGHT NEXT to my boss when I unwrapped this thing. I nearly choked myself laughing. How that lot managed to keep it a secret, I will never know.
Mohamd, our KP, has a little crush on me, and was apparantly moved to attach a note to the back of the packet:
So, Mr. Goodwin paid for (most of) the meal and four bottles of champagne. Then, we moved across the street to Browns, where no pictures were taken because I am not very good with my camera even when I am sober, nevermind when I contain a bottle of wine and half a bottle of champagne.
At some point, Tom and Chris and Jed and his boyfriend (?) left. Tom nearly broke my heart when he kissed me goodbye.
We took over the cubbyhole bit in Browns, where me and Jeff announced our forthcoming nuptials and me and Priya spent a very long time discussing whether or not Jed is gay (she thinks yes, I think he is just too emo for his own good). I licked Jeff's ear (people were demanding demonstrations) and went to the toilet more times than should have been necessary.
When we got bored of Browns (I do not like it very much, poor atmosphere) Zoe and Kim demanded we move to Brass Monkey (because they get free drinks), which we did, eventually.
By Brass I had already had more than was wise. I had a glass of my favourite ever whiskey sour and felt dizzy from then on. Brass has a bad effect on me, I cannot think of a single time I have been to that place and not spent longer sitting, surprised-like, on the floor than standing up, having a sensible conversation. Pictures from this point on courtesy of new girl Priya, to whom I gladly gave my camera as she is some sort of artist and I am technologically illiterate.
BRASS MONKEY, HOCKLEY:
Brass Monkey got me drunk, of course. A taxi got me home, and Dawny got me bread to soak up the worst of the damage.
So. It is nearly over.
I am making the worst decision of my life, I am pretty sure.
Anyway.
