Man, I am knackered and I have so much to do before May the 12th.
First off, Idlewild were ACE! This is a band I have liked since about year 9 so I am glad I finally got to see them live. I was alarmed, however, at the great number of emo kids on our bus on the way into town but we got over this through the medium of ridicule. We sailed past the stupidly long queue outside City on the bus (emo kids standing in the rain are HILARIOUS) and went for cocktails while the support act was on, because this is what the cool kids do.
There was more jumping than I had expected, although Dawny had called me on this. Consequently I spent the first twenty minutes of the set shoving the asshole in front of my in the ribs everytime she stood on my feet. Still, by the end I was jumping even though I think it is lame - they were THAT GOOD. I am still covered in bruises (also cigarette burns on my back, which is a bit chav for my liking).
I did not take any pictures, because I forgot my camera. To say it cost what it did, it could be getting more use...
In other news, I am still recovering from work, having done six shifts in seven days which I think is probably just greedy; all my housemates are back, including the one who went to Shanghai, lectures have started and I haven't been to ANY; and I had a very rude phone call from the 'supervisor' of the Short Loan Collection today telling me that one of my books is eight days overdue. I felt like telling her that 'supervisor' does not mean a lot these days and if my (supposedly top-notch) uni would spend another twenty-five quid a year on books we would not need a SLC, but of course just bit my lip and told her I would bring the damn thing back when I was good and ready. It is my fine after all.
Also, I am feeling pretty 1337 today as I have finally switched to Firefox. I am not sure how this makes me leet but I am proud anyway. (I will almost certainly be bored of it by the weekend.)

I'm going to Tokyo next year with a friend. She only wants to see Tokyo but I fancy going down to Kyoto to as it looks really cool. If Hiroshima is good then I'll get her to do a tour of Japan with me
You can always come with us if Tokyo is a dream destination for you lol
Where abouts in America you thinking of doing? I want to get to Arizona sooooo much. I am considering doing the Inca trail in Peru next year and thought about going up to Arizona for a week afterwards but as I've been press-ganged into a holiday in Japan I don't think my holiday allowance will stretch to both.
Guess I could always quit my job... ah but then my wallet wouldn't stretch to both
