I feel a bit like writing a list. These statements are in no particular order and mostly are a product of canadian whiskey and rambling thoughts.
1. I didn't drink a drop until I was 18. I was living in downtown Iowa City in 1997 and my neighbor Buffy invited me to her party. I drank at the keg of Rolling Rock for hours and went to class in the morning drunk. It was scary and great at the same time.
2. I miss the early nineties. I was happy with life, music was great, and the future was without bounds. Flannel was abundant.
3. I come from a pretty small family with older parents. I have a brother, but we don't really speak much due to differing opinions on what in life is important.
4. Undiagnosed bipolarism runs in the family. Thanks mom.
5. Batter-dipped french fries are much better than regular fries. Even waffle cut. It's a bold statement but I stand by it.
6. The older I get the more I realize memories and experiences are worth more than any material asset.
7. When I was younger I always thought if I tried hard, played fair, and respected others nothing but good would come my way. That notion hasn't proven to be true, but I still haven't given it up yet.
8. I've thought about disappearing before. Pulling up roots and leaving for what and where I don't know, disappearing into anonymity.
9. Time really seems to be moving faster than ever. I'm not sure how I feel about this. Either way I can't do much about it until I can get some damn plutonium.
10. Burritos are almost perfect.

Have you seen Beer Wars? I watched it the other day, on DVD, and I thought it was pretty good.

Believe me, I'm giving panhandling some serious thought, despite my hatred of it.
