It's finally good spring weather and I've got an itching to fill the neighborhood with the aroma of malted barley. Homebrew time indeed, and I've got hefe on the brain. I'm going to be really, really careful lifting big pots of scalding liquid too as to avoid any back injury. Lift with the legs, Snake! The legs!

My one complaint about southern cal is that there is this douchy need for beer to be extreme in order to be great, and hefe's don't get a lot of respect. Yet there are very few brewers that make one that stood out to me.
