Reminder to myself: don't volunteer for extra responsibilities at work!
Two of my colleagues has left, they've both moved to Sweden to start training to become air traffic controllers. Anyway, one of them was the guy who did our work schedules, so they needed someone to do that after him. I volunteered for the job, and man that sucks! It's really really difficult. We're about 5 people short and when some people are on holidays and stuff, that means the schedule becomes one big puzzle. Oh, well, I guess I'll get the hang of it eventually.
Nothing much has happened, life goes by peacefully in the little town of Kangerlussuaq. That would be another way of saying that it's pretty darn boring here. We're all walking around rather zombie-like, sleeping up to 12 hours. I've been told that we should see the sun again some time late this month. That'll be nice. This dark period is draining all the energy out of me.
We'll run out of cat food and litter in a month or two. That's actually quite a bit of a problem. You can get some stuff in the shop, but it's really bad quality (don't know if you have whiskas in the States, but it's a sucky product). There won't be a ship until sometime come June and it's way too expensive to have some sent by air. I'll be able to bring about 10kg of litter and 5kg food when I return from Denmark in March but it's not quite enough. I guess we'll figure out what to do eventually.

We do have Whiskas here in the US and yes it does suck, but at least they won't be hungry
