Okay, so yesterday was the worst day I've had for a very long time.
I passed the first exam, equipment. That was the one I actually counted on failing coz I seriously do not understand half of all that c... about frequency bands and radar stuff and blah blah blah.
Well, then we were 12 people taking an exam in what they simply call "aircraft" -we're the first ever taking this type of exam. 5 out of 2 passed, I was unfortunately not one of them. It was not a fair exam at all. We've had 50 aircrafts we had to be able to recognize, not the wake turbulence category, the cruise speed and level, climb rate -everything! Oh, and know stuff about engines and stuff. Well, in the exam, we were asked questions about 5 aircrafts we've never even heard about, and half the questions concerned something we've never even learned aobut.
We've talked with our employer about it, so no-one will be fired for this, but they'll talk to the school about it, coz they definitely didn't do their job properly.

Even though I know I did the best I could and didn't stand a fair chance, I'm pretty bummed about it. Can't help but feel somewhat like a failure. It really sux. And I can't really say that I'm motivated for the next 3 exams. *sigh*. Oh, well. Come wednesday, I can relax for a while and enjoy my mum's christmas cooking!

Went Christmas shopping with my mom and my brother's girlfriend today. It was nice, but I'd totally picked the wrong shoes, I swear, my feet have never hurt so much due to shoes before. very painful. Have I learned from it? Nope!

Tomorrow Ren is coming back from Austria. His company is paying for a skiing trip. They left Thursday. Obviously, he can't ski due to his shoulder, but it's nice for him to get away a bit and enjoy the mountains and stuff. I sure miss him, though. I'm really not good at being alone. -Which I guess is why I'm ranting away here....
