Before you read this, understand that this involes only a select few people, and the one who will probably read it first, knows who he is and has my ultimate respect and love, but please don't brain me anymore.
I really hate fighting with my friends over stupid shit, so I just bit my tongue when someone else was just begging for a fight. Thanks for the advice Z., I did do my best. I have just never been involved in a band where I have to be chastised by someone who is supposed to be my friend over something ridiculous. usually, people I play with are ecstatic about it, not flexing my ego or anything, that's just the way it is. This has been a little different, maybe I'm a little intimidated, but I love my bandmates and I am happy, scratch that, Honored to be playing with them. I just hate to be made to feel like a child over something that couldn't really be helped on my part. I'm over it. Practice went well and the songs started sounding better as the night went on. I am a busy person too, what with working one full time job and trying to run a business on the side and working on my car. I don't have alot of time either, and noone takes that into consideration when they leave me waiting at the house all night, wondering if we are practicing or not, but I never got on anyone's case and made them feel like a whipped dog for something like that. Just makes me feel a little hurt that's all. I know it's not all that and it'll wash over me just like water off a ducks back, but there might have been a little motor oil in there too. Alright. I think that's sufficient.
-on a lighter note, I saw a beautiful Boxer (had it's ears and it's tail, just like my old Sanford) this morning on the way too work looking really skinny and in need of a good meal and a good home, I'm sure. He was so damn cute, I almost turned around and picked him up and took him home, but I was seriously late for work so I didn't. If I see him again though, I think my dog will have a new friend to play with. I'm such a sucker, but goddamn he was cute.
