I'm really not very good at this, but I thought I'd show my appreciation to a few people who have been there for me, supporting me, making me laugh and definitely saying you won't have sex with me 😉. This year has been really difficult, like the worst, but you guys have been incredible. This community really is the best and I'm so happy to

Oh man, this is fucking difficult to write. So, last month, three days after I saw her last, my Mum had a stroke, it was such a severe stroke that the Doctor informed me that there was no way my Mum would recover. Three days after she suffered the stroke we made the most difficult decision we've ever had to make and she was taken

@leighgabriel Thank you so much for your comment, Dude. Apologies for my late reply. Thank you for your kind words. I honestly do believe that, as long as well remember someone, they're never truly gone. I'm sorry for your loss and totally agree with you that it's the hardest thing to deal with, ever. I just felt lost, I still do. This was the one person who always saw good in me, despite how much of an arse hole I was. And now I didn't have that person, that reassurance. I feel so guilty for all the times I should have visited her or invited her to my house or told her I loved her. I know she knew, but there's always that regret, like you didn't do enough. Thank you so much for your offer. I would love to speak about it, one day. Any time you'd like to talk, please message me. As I said to a friend, I doubt I'll have any answers, but I'll always listen. Take care, Dude.

" I feel so guilty for all the times I should have visited her or invited her to my house or told her I loved her. I know she knew, but there's always that regret, like you didn't do enough." Trust me, over time, thoughts like that will somewhat dissipate (I'm not trying to say you'll forget about those things) and when your mind stops beating you up, all that's left is the happy memories. Yeah, those thoughts of regret will still be there, but they'll be a whimper compared to the massive shout that is the good memories.

Thank you to @klopernicus for tagging me and Thank you @amoxi for creating the questionnaire! Here we go!

1, One word to describe the year. Interesting. Yeah, it's really been an interesting year and it ended in the most surprising and fantastic way. It's really set me up for an amazing 2023

2, my favourite movie of the year is Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Thank you @klopernicus, I've never done this before. Being from the UK, I don't have much experience with Thanksgiving, but I'm up for anything (ask your mum (and dad)). Thank you to @amoxi for the initial idea.

1, Football, always. Even though I don't really understand the rules, it's like futuristic rugby (thank you Alan Partridge), it's an enjoyable game. My favourite team? For some
