When I was up in Toronto I picked up some bike frames that my local shop had had painted. So me + 6 bike frames became a threat to the US. At the border I had the typical questions asked, thought I was all in the clear until I was told to turn off my car and hand over the keys. I had a "no-run" strip thrown under the car and was escorted to a room by 4 agents. Knowing they wanted to look at the bike frames I asked them to be careful as the new paint could chip, fuckers ended up chipping one!

Either way, I got a solid 30 minute good cop-bad cop session about nothing. I mean, I figured they had pinpointed me for drugs or something as I could see the agents checking my spare tire. They did not close the door to the cell, so I could kinda see what was going on. I was repeatedly asked if I had anything to declare, which I did not, so it was pretty useless.

Realizing I did not have any drugs they started questioning why I needed so many clothes for one night and how much money I had. I had $60 CAD and no American money, so much for trying to pinpoint me as a hustler.

-Moved up my move date from the end of April to mid April. I cannot wait to get out of this place, the sooner the better. And! This means that I will be in Colorado for my birthday, the big 2-5, and I am SO happy about that. The new move date might also mean the chance to shoot a new set!

-Only a few more weeks til my defense. Really excited.

-No job prospects in Colorado, and I am trying to convince myself that that is okay.

-My roommate is moving next week. It is going to be weird, I have never lived alone. I've had my own room, but never my own apartment. It will be short lived though, as my lady will be staying with me for a few weeks, then I move a few weeks later. So I am looking forward to some quality alone time.
