Disneyland was so freakin' fun! I didn't grab Tigger's nuts, he was surrounded by little ones. I did get pictures with Chip [of Chip and Dale], Mary Poppins, Eeyore, and I forget the rest. It was warmer down in Anaheim than up here in the Bay Area. I loved seeing the sun out. After having a nice grey and cold winter, I am ready for a warm and fun spring. Spring in the Bay Area is so fun .
Right now I am making a Poison Ivy costume to wear to WonderCon. I didn't want to make it using fake ivy leaves because I thought that looked kinda tacky. So I am making the leaves out of stamped velvet. If you put velvet over a rubber stamp and iron it, the stamp makes an impression into the velvet. It looks super neato. So that it what I am making this week. After work I bet I'll be making more leaves. I have about 5 different shades of green velvet. The versions of Poison Ivy I am creating is a mix between the comicbook and Uma Thurman in the movie. It's going to be of the style of Uma, but the detail of the comicbook. At WonderCon I am entering the Masquerade that they have Saturday night. I've never done one of these things before. But I thought hey, I'm a good costumer, and they are giving away cash prizes, why not try and win some cash? Wish me luck! If you're at the con say hello to the tattooed Posion Ivy!
Other then that, I have a few tricks up my sleeve that I cannot give away. You'll just have to see them unravel into goodness. I'm so excited I have hair back after having a shaved head for last summer. I got a new Yoga DVD and it is awesome! Hopefully I'll loose 10 vanity pounds in the next 2 months [I really don't neeed to, but I want a Gwen Stefani figure and for the first time in my life I'm actually working out!]
Do any of you have any great rare Tori Amos or Tool songs? I'm looking for things that might be a rare track or a great live recording. If you have anyhing post it here talking about it! If I don't have it, then I'll give you my e-mail address so you can send it to me
Take care cyber babies!
