Im going to Rome. Im going to Rome. Im going to Rome.
Found out Thursday. Yea! Sweet. Ive never been to the other side of the lake! Ive never been off this continent. Its for work . . . but whatever. We're staying in a five star hotel and Im going to see the friggin Colleseum! (I cant spell) You know the place. Staying on one of the seven hills of Rome. I dont know what that means but it sounds pretty!
Anyone been? Tell me where to go in my off time!
Thats my most exciting news to tell.
Also shopping for a beautiful location to get married. Jersey to upstate NY, NYC. Any suggestions? Cool places to get a dress?
My fiance finally got a day off on the weekends. We dont get days off together unless its a holiday. Im M-F, hes retail.
Now he has Sundays free though. Yea!!!! Now we can do stuff together during the day.
Plans are forming lately. This makes me very happy. I thrive on being chock full o' plans. Hopefully I will be going home to Ohio sometime this summer. Also wouldnt mind hitting the mountains in NM or Chicago because they are favorite retreats of mine. Shall see, shall see . . .
Update! (Sunday 4/24)
So last night I went and saw Emok from NYC, originally from Isreal. I felt bad for them because they didnt take the stage until about 11:00 and by then everyone had left. There was no support in this town. A band played for their friends then they all left. Bunch of crappy young bands too. So Emok played for three people. One being a guy that worked there. Me, and Jim. We drove 45 mins. to see them. There is something about a band playing just for you. It made me incredibly happy. When the band members make eye contact with you while performing;(and they did not hold back one bit despite the lack of people) its great. When they bow to you and thank you, although they are greatful you are a captive audience, I felt special for the special show. They just rocked. We all introduced ourselves when they were done. Then we spent $50 at their merch table. Jim is going to drop a CD to his buddy that is an A&R for Virgin Records. They were very humble guys. I cant describe them because they are unique. Emok I found out last night the band names means "You're Welcome"
